Claire McWhite

I began as a Lewis-Sigler Scholar in 2020, with a goal to push the limits of what we can learn about the function of poorly described proteins through integrating existing data sources and prior knowledge. I am working with the Jonikas lab to explore structure and sequence properties of proteins essential to pyrenoid function. In my free time, I garden, paint, and play piano.
