I obtained my B.S. in agriculture from Zhejiang University, where I spent three years studying rice genetics, insect proteomics model, biosensors, and planting in the field. With the learning experience and close contact with land, a seed of devotion to preventing food crisis was sowed in my heart. After my graduation in 2021, I became a graduate student at Princeton and joined the Jonikas lab a year later. With a focus on the pyrenoid tubule molecular function, I hope my study can bring us closer to engineering functional tubule networks into land plants, and our ultimate goal to increase plant yield.
Outside of lab work I love doing sports, including working out, volleyball, badminton, ping-pong, basketball, and more. Hope a few years later I’ll get both my degree and huge muscles.
